Patrick Willis shows that he owns the middle on this play, as he blows up Ricky Williams with ease. Ricky trys his best to catch and turn which Willis turns into a hit and drop. Big ups to Willis for continuously beasting on NFL RBs out there. Bamm Bamm dont play that!

Beanie wells seriously uses his truck sticks on this run and Cedric Griffin unfortunately is on the receiving end of things. Anyone…Anyone…want to know when the NFL starts handing out defensless defenders fines…just thought I’d ask.

HOTD: Adrian Wilson Blows up Hines Ward

First off, props to any receiver that goes across the middle of the field in the NFL. Now…props to Adrian Wilson for doing what an NFL safety is suppose to do. Intimidate and strike fear into opposing receivers. Its rare you see Hines Ward getting lit up, because he’s usually laying the smack down himself, but Wilson keeps it really real on the field with this one!

Never thought I would see someone blow up Megatron aka Calvin Johnson but it happened. Thanks to Lance Briggs Bears fans got to see him lay the hammer down on Johnson. Remember boys and girls NFL Rule #1080…catching balls over the middle is shady!

Folks if you’re looking for the exact way you legally beat up on the NFL’s coverboy, Elvis Dumervil shows you how its done. I appreciate Elvis for keeping it clean so I don’t have to feel bad for posting the many flagged “illegal hits” I do enjoy. Elvis… I love ya for this one, but lets also give Tom some credit for getting up…even though he wears Ugg boots you can tell Tom is Gangsta!

$40,000 aka 40 g folks. That’s how much it cost Ryan Clark for blowing up Ed Dickson. Appreciate it for what it is because these kind of hits are getting guys suspended see James Harrison who is also Clark’s teammate. I think these hits kinda solidify the evil rivalry that goes down between the Steelers and Ravens.

After seeing this hit, you’ll see why some folks may miss the old NFL. Oooh Wee! Wasn’t it violent? Back in the day you respected receivers who went over the middle to make a living just to make the big catch. I know… I know…Safety first. But we will never really see this kind of intimidation from NFL Safeties again. Thanks to Seahawks old timer Darryl Williams for bringing me back to the old school with this one!

James Harrison Owns Colt McCoy

We love James Harrison for one thing…HIT OF THE DAY. This guy fine or no fine can always be counted on to light some one up like a christmas tree. Glad McCoy was able to walk away from this one. Harrison will obviously be fined, lets just take his word on why he laid the smack down:

“From what I understand, once the quarterback leaves the pocket, he’s considered a runner,” Harrison said. “All the defenseless(ness) and liberties that a quarterback has in the pocket are gone and you can tackle him just as he’s a running back. The hit wasn’t late, so I really don’t understand why it was called.”

Taylor Mays blows up Tom Zbikowski

There is one thing that Taylor Mays does really well and that is hitting people very hard. With a frame as big as his, he was meant to smash people on the football field, I’m glad he continues to do what he does best!

Kurt Coleman’s massive hit on Austin Collie

By Gayle Saunders

Kurt Coleman gets flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct on this hit, I call it playing safety in the NFL folks. Glad Collie has made a comeback since, but Collie knows what he signed up for and thats why they get paid to play with the big boys!
