Good news for Bills camp as WR Stevie Johnson is back in the mix at practice.

Johnson was cleared by doctors to resume practicing and he was able to get reps at Tuesday’s OTAs.

"It was great to see him," OC Nathaniel Hackett said. "It was great to see him run some routes instead of being on the side. We've just got to work him back in."

THE SKINNY: Anytime you can get your #1 wideout back in camp it’s a good thing, The Bills won’t rush Johnson back into the mix fully with his back strain, but just having him back earlier than expected is a win for EJ Manuel and Kevin Kolb.

The NFL is looking to tweak the dates for its official league year, and will reportedly move next year's draft out of April and into May.

The league's site reports that the target start date for the 2014 draft would be May 15. Meanwhile, the site for Super Bowl L in 2016 will be decided today, with San Francisco the favorite over Miami. The loser in the 2016 bidding would then face off against Houston for the 2017 Super Bowl.

It’s being reported that Rob Gronkowski’s infection in his arm has finally cleared. Gronk was fortunate to have his new plate put in during his surgery on Monday.

This particular arm has now gone through four surgeries due to complications from the infection, and the doctors are hoping that this will work. The doctors need the plate to hold his fractured arm in place.

THE SKINNY: Just when you thought Gronk was done with surgery, he’ll be going under the knife in about a month for back surgery. They’re saying the recovery from this procedure, could be up to ten weeks. The Patriots will be lucky to get him back before training camp ends, but he’s still got a shot to be in the line-up against the Bills in week 1. Not to scare Patriots nation, but Gronkowski missed his senior season due to a bad back which forced him to miss the combine that year as well.

One of the the most ridiculous collisions in college football was when Michael Robinson met Minnesota Gopher's safety Brandon Owens.

Any other QB would have opted for the sidelines, however Robinson wasn't built like an average QB and he was opting to run through someone. Robinson who is now a full back in the NFL showed the explosiveness he possessed carrying the rock even at QB.

The sad part is this actual hit ended Brandon Owens football career, its just another reminder of the dangerous game of football that these guys play. People may say it looks easy on tv, but if you've never put on the pads and taken a real hit...you have no idea.

The Chargers recently signed former Colts pass rusher Dwight Freeney.

It’s being reported that the two year deal could be worth $13.35 million for his services.
With the Chargers losing Melvin Ingram to an ACL injury, it opened up a valuable opportunity for Freeney. The Chargers also lost Shaun Phillips and Antwan Barnes to free agency

THE SKINNY: Although Freeney is suited best in a 4-3 defense rather than a 3-4, the 33 year old Freeney still has the ability to rush the quarterback with the best of them. Hopefully Freeney brings his all world spin move with him to sunny San Diego.

On this play All world special teams ace...aka Josh Cribbs, gets put to sleep by Dannell Ellerbe all without a lullaby.

It's not everyday you get a chance to lay a hand on the like of the shifty Josh Cribbs, however Ellerbe did and made him pay for it. We're glad to see that Cribbs still has what it takes to still go out and do his thing in the return game. If I got knocked out like that, I might have to think twice before going back out.
