This is Amazing. All the years I loved ( and feared ) watching him play ( as A Ram fan when he was with the Saints) I never knew this side! I remember one game in 2003, He was w/ New Orleans - pounding on Kurt warner and the Rams one Monday night. La'Roi made a sack, throwing Warner to the ground like Kurt was a piece of wet paper, then he started smacking his own face mask! Well, I was a WR, playing at the time for the South Bend Stampede, but loved that move so much, I started doing it before every game.

When he came to the rams, I was really excited, but never got to meet him. He was always a favorite, but after reading this, He is now among Isaac Bruce, Keenan Burton and Walter Payton as my all time favorite players. Not due to what they do on the field, but for who they are OFF of it as well. You can't coach being a good man. You either have that or not.

It's always good to see one that does.

God Bless you, Mr. Glover!

GREAT story!

Well done! Big hearted guy - he was the champion for Big Brothers Big Sisters while I worked out of STL and I think he donated a suite at every game for the kids and their Bigs... just amazing what a difference things like that can do for a kid!
