Since joining the New England Patriots in 2007, Wes Welker has quickly become a household name in the NFL…from leading the league in receptions, or becoming Tom Brady’s trusty ace on the field. More importantly, he’s making a difference off the field . He has been actively making a difference in children’s lives, which is the reason why he created the Wes Welker Foundation in 2006 to help at-risk kids in his hometown of Oklahoma City, encouraging them through athletic programs and positive role models.
