Anyone whose ever played on special teams, knows there’s always one guy who has to lay the smack down on a special teams unit. On this play it was Demarcus Dobbs who brings the rath to Tyler Sash’s door step. Some may call it dirty, some may call it dirty legal, I call it football. If you step on the field be prepared to get hit folks. This aint the Ice capades.

First off, props to any receiver that goes across the middle of the field in the NFL. Now…props to Adrian Wilson for doing what an NFL safety is suppose to do. Intimidate and strike fear into opposing receivers. Its rare you see Hines Ward getting lit up, because he’s usually laying the smack down himself, but Wilson keeps it really real on the field with this one!

Roger Goodell where have all the real hits gone??? I swear if I see another hit like this flagged i’m gonna lose it. Hitting is apart of football almost like poetry in motion, if you will. Roger dont affect that part of the game man! Big ups to Isa Abdul-Quddus for laying the wood legally on Hakeem Nicks. He’s a big boy and he’s gonna be alright because at the end of the day, he knows what he signed up for…If it’s in the game…its in the game!

Rahim Moore blows up Donald Jones

The young Rahim Moore was fined $20,000 for this helmet-to-helmet hit on Donald Jones. Moore was hit with a 15-yard personal foul for the monsterous hit which happened last Saturday against the Bills. Now in time, the rookie will aim low, but with lack of training camp and live play its understandable. If I was a coach…this is exactly what I would like to see from a young safety. A kid who shys away from making the big hit, is someone you don’t want playing safety for you.
Danny Woodhead gets Rocked!

Football…it’s a violent sport they play and someone should tell Danny Woodhead to keep his head on a swivel while on special teams. I love this kid and his heart, sure hope he’s all good after taking this monsterous hit. The Pats offense needs this kid, might not want to have him on the punt coverage team…just a thought.
