Josh Cribbs: Pay the Man Movement!

The Fans have spoken!
Josh Cribbs wants to get “paid” by the Cleveland Browns, and many Browns’ fans second that motion.
One fan in particular, local recording artist Terrance D. Reynolds, made a song called “Pay the Man” in support of Cribbs.
“Josh is an NFL star, and I identify with the fact that often artists don’t get enough for what they’re doing,” Reynolds said today in an interview with Starting Blocks. “He deserves a raise. Music inspires folks, so maybe this will inspire the Browns to pay him.”
The Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot writes that Cribbs’ agent and the Browns have had positive dialogue.
Cribbs showed fans his appreciation at two separate events. Cribbs signed autographs and hosted a charity auction at The Barley House on 1265 W.6th Street. Following that event, Cribbs will host a Pro Bowl Party at The View Night Club on 618 East Prospect Ave.
Cribbs initially rejected the Browns’ $1.4 million offer on January 6th and said he would not play in city of Cleveland next season. This is the second time in just over a month that Rickert has said he has held positive conversations with the team.
Joshua Cribbs was selected to his second Pro Bowl following the 2009 season, when he became one of the most feared return men in NFL history. Cribbs returned three kickoffs for touchdowns and became the NFL’s career leader in the category with eight. Cribbs also set career highs in receptions (20) and rushing attempts (55) as he became a bigger part of the Browns’ offense.
