Terrell Owens is returning to play the game he loves, however its not in the NFL, its the IFL The Indoor Football League. Guys like Buffalo’s Fred Jackson and Redskins Anthony Armstrong have come from this league in fact.

Owens wil be suiting up for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League who play in Allen, Texas.

Owens made the statement on Beeyoo.com that it was in fact official that he was making his comeback.

“Uh-oh, it’s official. It just went down. I’m headed back to Texas. That’s right. IFL, here I come. Allen, Texas, here I come. I’m gonna be me. Allen, Texas, I’ll see you in the end zone.”

Apparently Terrell Owens was reportedly rushed to a Los Angeles hospital a week ago after someone placed a 911 call about a possible prescription pill overdose.

TMZ is reporting that an ambulance was dispatched Thursday to an apartment in LA were Terrell Owens was taken away. In the report it also stated that he was released.

A rep for Owens had no comment on the matter.

Back in 2006 T.O. was hospitalized when he insisted he had a bad reaction to painkillers, despite reports that he tried to commit suicide by inhaling 35 Vicodin pills.

The Korea Times reported last month that Owens visited South Korea to have stem-cell therapy on his surgically repaired ACL recently. At the moment they are not sure if his medical procedure had anything to do with Owens current situation.

Terrell Owens fined $5,000 for tweeting

I can’t lie Twitter is an amazing thing, probably something that Terrell Owens and I would agree on…Too bad it cost him $5,000 for one tweet!

The League fined Ownes $5,000 for tweeting too close to Sunday’s kickoff. A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Owens violated the NFL’s social media policy.

On Tuesday, Owens made it known that he violated the policy by sending a tweet about an hour before Week 5′s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not only players, but coaches are not allowed to use social networks 90 minutes before a game, during a game or after a game.

Last season the policy went into effect and the only other person to be fined for such actions was Owens trusty teammate Chad Ochocinco, who was fined $25,000 for tweeting right before and during a preseason game.

About an hour before the Bucs game, Owens sent a tweet that he said was part of his work with a charity that helps children in Kenya.

“A lucky fan wearing my jersey 2day will get a signed football by Me & Ocho Cinco! My asst will pick U out!! Good luck!” he tweeted.

Owens told the press that he didn’t mean for it to go out late, the only problem was he left his home late, and forgot to take his cell phone with him. He he had an assistant bring his cell phone to Paul Brown Stadium. By the time he posted the tweet the Bengals were on the field warming up.

Well either way, it was for a good cause and we take our hats off to Terrell Owens for giving back to a charity that helps children in Kenya!
