Maurice Jones-Drew: Beast of the Week (Week 3)

In Week 3 one of the smallest players in the NFL stood head and shoulders above the rest. When the Jacksonville Jaguars needed him the most, he stepped up and performed with 119 yards and 3 TD’s. The final of the 3 came early in the 4th Quarter to give the Jags the lead for good.

His 1st 100 yard game of the season couldn’t come at a better time as the winless Jags get a much needed win. Jones-Drew talks about his the Jags no quit attitude, “We just kept believing in each other and that was the best thing about it … they jumped out on us real quick. We just kept fighting back, fighting back. No one blinked.”
