When people mention the name Desean Jackson certain thoughts may come to mind: Super Talented Pro Bowl WR, Game Changer, Record Breaker, Ultra confident… some naysayers may say a little cocky.
Whether you believe everything that you read or hear about the rising NFL star…one thing you need to take notice of is the difference he is making off the field. These days Desean Jackson is doing his best to bring awareness to Pancreatic Cancer.
The Pro Bowl wide receiver has been using social media sites to interact with fans about The DeSean Jackson Foundation For Pancreatic Cancer on his new site www.foundation10.com a site created in honor of DeSean’s father, Bill, who was officially diagnosed with pancreatic cancer during the Eagles’ playoff game against the New York Giants in 2009 and later passed away in May 09. Jackson is urging fans to take a few minutes of their time to spread awareness about a disease that has not only affected his life, but the lives of millions of others.
