Games of Week – 3 Games You Don’t Wanna Miss!

Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers

This is a battle of Running Backs as Adrian Peterson and the Vikes go against Frank Gore and suprising 49ers. The D’ in San Fran has been clicking and they haven’t lost a game yet. Patrick Willis has been all over the field and the secondary has been playing well. On the flip side, the Vikings have all the parts to be a dangerous team. They have a HOF QB who is getting more and more comfortable in this system. Percy Harvin is playing well for a rookie and of course they have AP! The D’ has been ball hawking lately with Chad Greenway getting two picks last week. We’re going with Minnesota at home!

On paper this may not seem to be a game that would qualify for game of the week but…with Tennessee starting out 0-2 they are going to come out hungry for a win in the Meadowlands! Tennessee has an explosive offense but the questions lie on Defense where the secondary was torched last week against the Houston Texans. The good news for the Titans is that Andre Johnson doesn’t play for the Jets. Instead they face the suprising Mark Sanchez and the D-Rex Jets who have a new swagger on D’ thanks to Rex Ryan. In what will be a very entertaining game we like Tennessee to go on the road and pick up their first win of the year.

Atlanta Falcons vs New England Patriots

Perhaps the biggest question in New England this week is will Wes Welker play? He is such a difference maker for a team that has thrown the ball exactly 100 times in 2 games. Tom Brady has showed a little rust after missing all of last season but the Falcons D’ will be tested. The key to this game may just be John Abraham, if he can apply constant pressure it could be a long day for the Pats. On the flip side the Falcons offense is as complete a unit as you will find in the NFL. Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White and now Tony Gonzalez is just too many weapons for a New England defense that doesn’t have the All Pro’s that it once did. We like the Falcons to win on the road and go 3-0 on the season!

No arguments on these games. We should learn a lot when the dust settles after these three contests.

No stopping AP, PWillis or no PWillis. Can Gore live up to the hype against this defense? This one may come down to turnovers, and special teams.
