Larry Fitzgerald: Pre Kick Off Beast of the Week

Every week the Editors will bang heads and come up with one player that we feel is simply a Beast, a boy wonder, a straight up stud. For our preseason pick we went with Larry Fitzgerald. In the NFC Playoffs and throughout the Super Bowl, right before our eyes, his abilities and talents seem to be peaking and we think he is going to reach that apex and take over the league in 2009. With his partners in crime Kurt Warner, Anquan Boldin and Steve Breaston, the offensive firepower shouldn’t diminish.

Larry Fitzgerald seems like he has the charisma (aka SWAG), class and grace to not only be the best player on the field but also one of the nicest guys you’ll meet off the field. As a Superstar athlete who has lost a parent, Larry is a role model for many people who find themselves in a similar situation. Being a leader and role model isn’t something that Larry shy’s away from, he embraces it. By donating his time and energy in the community, Larry gives back in many ways from helping kids stay fit at one of his Nike camps to Waiting tables at Mortons Steakhouse for charity.
